awesome, i heard Dave was down last night (wed) and ran like 14.4, not too shabby for that car. but i think he still has to tune it. i know Andy's car is ridiculous. probably run a 9..haha ok maybe a 12 something. that car is done right! well i'm hoping to touch the 14's so we'll see. i'm looking forward to see what you run, shoud be real good! btw, i haven't seen you guys around much, i miss us all hangin out and being ###, rippin on Dave and Neil haha, good times! good time tonight that was almost as fun as street racing.....all up until i was "leakin oil" AHHHHH we gotta all run when it gets a lil colder....im glad i got that ice i think thats what shaved that time off of my 1/4 mile....i still dont kno how u can get a 14.9 on stock....seems impossible...anyone heading out tomorrow?

Justin, you def have 14s. A 2.4 60ft and a 15.1, no problem w/ 14s. Congrats to Chris on touching 13s too. Im looking to run as soon as i square up this prob w/ my car, so let me know when everyone is going down again. Ima go for 13s this time around

Thanks! Justin, you will see a huge diff running in better weather. I need to fix a few minor problems on my car. I would love to hit a 13.1-13.3 by the end of this season, thats my goal, will it happen who knows, but here's hoping.

Hey Redbaron, did I run against you last last friday night a cecil? If so, you totally kicked my ass on the 60' and I was wondering what you launched at? I just bought this car so i'm kinda still getting use to it while trying not to break anything.

Hey Hefft, Yeah That was my first time ever at the track, I launched at like 3500-4000, which was low, My best run that night was a 13.9 with a 1.9 60ft, I launched that at 4500-4700, I want to try launching at 5500 which is what most people I've talked to say is best. I need a bigger turbo, you totally caught me in the end.

Yeah, my lowest 60' was a 2.12. I was only launching @ 3500 though. I could easily shave a couple of tenths off my sixty @ 5500. Plus it was so damn hot and humid on fri. I heard a bunch of people complaining about their cars running slower because of it.

I talked to a girl from Delaware that same night. She had a red 2g w/auto trans. I didn't get a chance to see what she ran. I was trying to figure if all the dsm's were running slow.

The girl in the 2g GSX is Nikki, her screen name is Red99GSX, you may want to stay away from her, she's kinda mean. j/k Yeah all the DSMs' and turbo cars in general were running slower because of the humidity, we can't combust moisture! Your car def has more in it, it takes time to learn AWD, proper launching, shifting etc etc.

Cecil loves to water down the whole staging area.. every time I go there I nearly hit the starter trying to weave around the water

BTW.. should look into JeffO's EPROM mod for selectable studder launch. I've got the static S-B version set at 5500 RPM which has gotten me into the 1.8 60' range and sick R/Ts

Basically the EPROM is modded to lower your RevLimiter to a set limit (say 5500) whenever the clutch is engaged and the car isn't moving. This way you can sit on the gas at the line and not have to worry what RPM you are launching at

hopefully next time we go to the track i dont see zero oil pressure on the way there and a huge puddle of oil under my car so i can actually get a few runs in

anyone trying to get up and do anything this week/weekend?? i got my car stripped to the block so i dont have the whip but we havent all met up in some time.....lemme know

I saw on your profile that your also into modeling. What agency do you work for? I went to school in Philly for modeling and acting and I was talking to a couple of agents from MMA but I kinda decided it wasn't for me.

Anyway, I know this isn't exactly the forum for this but I was just curious.

I'm actually not signed with an agency b/c they take a percentage of what you make. and they regulate your "look." i kinda just wanted to do my own thing, so i mainly work for companies in the auto industry. convienent, huh? haha its a lot of fun and if you get hooked up with the right company, you get free stuff. i personally haven't had that luxury yet, but i'm hoping my time will come! haha

I think this fri would be good for us all to meet up. but if thats not a good time for the majority of us, then i may have to skip out on it this weekend. let me know what you all want to do!!
