Dash Radio Install Kit 1G

Can someone give me a direct link to where I can buy a Radio Install kit for my 1G Talon? I've searched, but most of the links are outdated and don't work. I'm looking for one that will hold my CD deck and then it has the plastic pocket underneath. Thanks in advance.

why dont you just go to a local stereo shop(not electronic express,circuit city etc..) and have them order a dash kit for you. should cost about $20. thats the easiest way to do it.

Hey, I work at PepBoys and just got an install kit for my 90 GSt. It was $16.99 retail.

You can also call Crutchfield. I believe they're $13 & S+H, I bought one for my car.

They have a bunch of other useful things, like, speaker adapter plates, foam to protect speakers, wiring harnesses, etc... All vehicle-specific. I've used them for every single car I've owned, since I started driving. If you're busy with things, it's extra convenient--comes right to your door.

You can also go to junk yard (or eBay) to find the trim frame around the radio, for either single slot (if you want a storage "pocket" under the radio) or for double-size unit. Order accordingly.

They're DIN, so you can use anything else that is. I went for the Galant pocket with door on my 2G, but it'd fit a 1G as well.

the mounting cage will fit the radio trim/bezel without a kit. then just get the pocket from the dealer or the junkyard. i may actually have the one from my old 1G at my parents house....
