I’ve got my head in the machine shop, what specifications should I give them for my installed valve height & valve spring install height?

Thank you I just checked kigglys website and they show what the pressure should be at install height specifications I was not too sure that was the install height I thought it was universal thing for 4g63sThe spring manufacturer has those exact specs to give them.
This is an older thread but the poster is/was a very good machinist so I trust what he posted.
I'm reviving an old thread but it's relevant -- the only shims I can find that are from a trusted name are the Kiggly "Race only" ones. Before I order a set or two, does anybody know if they interchangable between spring manufacturers? You can shim valve springs to get the install height and pressure correct but spring manufacturers always have their specs particular to their product. Usually pretty close on height but pressure will vary depending on wire size and number of coils.
i would assume so, i would shim based on installed height. Basically let your machinist do the work and measuring and give them your desired spring pressureI'm reviving an old thread but it's relevant -- the only shims I can find that are from a trusted name are the Kiggly "Race only" ones. I already have a set of springs I'm using, just not Kigglys, and I am looking to have some of the shims on-hand because it's a super pain to do tiny orders from the USA.

these guys i went to aren’t 4g63 experts but they were experts! I did not provide shims they used their own and added shims as needed to get the desired pressure i requested per kiggly specificationsIndeed. I ordered a set each of .015 and .030s just in case I need them. I can't see needing .06 for my nearly new BC springs as this head is 5.201" +/- .001. hell, the seals I think were still original. A bunch came apart just by removing the valves
Hopefully the shop has the ability to measure height on these heads with a valve spring micrometer small enough, otherwise I'll be left to my own, having to get the tool myself. Nobody knows much about 4g63s around these parts.
