CX racing reliability?

Generally pipe is pipe. They will work fine but you may need to buy new clamps because those will probably break. Also, i wouldn't trust that bov for very much boost, you should be fine for stock though.

I bought the same kit from Punishment Racing for my 2g, I loved it. The t-bolt clamps are horrible, I used new hose clamps and everything held 15 pounds fine. The BOV is garbage though, stick with the 1g BOV...thats what I did. Other than that, I would purchase it from Punishment, just because they are a supporting vendor and have amazing customer support!

is it same price tho? i found a simmular kit on slowboy but it was 400 bucks

well ill have to use the tbolt clamps they come with for now ### i have alot of other things to get also. thanks for the input tho punishment racing is 30/40 bucks cheaper so ill ###### get it from them

hey bro im about to put a FMIC on my talon. i have an HKS UICP on mine right now and will sell it once i install my fmic. if u want to wait a week ill sell u my hks uicp for $100 bucks +shipping

I have the cxracing intercooler piping on my car. All but one of the t clamps held their shape. I have no complaints.

The T-bolt clamps I got from them were horrible. The band was stainless steel, but the bolt and nut weren't. A winter of salt made them almost impossible to adjust without breaking them.

The BOV is also cheaply constructed. The diaphragm in it is crap.

I have the CX racing kit on my car any it works great. The clamps and BOV are crap but the piping and intercooler are really good and are at a great price. I run the NGR BOV with the piping kit and ran 23 psi daily on it with no problems. Great kit.

awsome thanks guys ill be getting it over the weekend. and misterjose thanks for the offer but i need the full kit upper and lower pipes

I dont need a full fmic kit atm. All upgrades like that will be down the road. I just getting what i need to fix all the issues the car has before i actully take it on the road.

I'm working on a setup to measure and log the pressure drop across my CXRacing intercooler. It's something I've been curious about for a while.

But looking back, I would recommend the VRSF kit over the CXRacing kit. Better fit.

You may need to buy an additional j-pipe with that kit you linked, but I'm not 100% sure.

You mentioned though you do have intentions of building it up down the road.

I'd rather spend $280 now and have a good quality FMIC (not to mention how much more awesome dsm's look with a FMIC :p) than spend $150 now, and another $280 later and end up having $430 into it, $150 of it basically wasted.

Ive bought a universal kit from them and routed it myself. Used there pipe, couplers, and clamps. It's been holding 20psi daily and havent had a problem with anything.

i just want the thing to run good and boost again i dont care if i have to spend more later on i rather just get what i need to fix the issues i have now all upgrades come when taxes come.

Can you buy just the piping and put a good BOV on there?
The way to go would be to buy the kit and sell the junk BOV on eBay to some low-budget Honda guy, and replace it with a quality piece.

Im not going to use the bov in the kit. Im sticking with my stock 1g bov. The kit is flanged for a 1g bov so all is well.

Well i have massive boost leaks all my hoses are cracked pretty bad so i stumbled upon this
