cutting out, why?

I have a problem. every time i seem to boost (past 3k) ill pull normal until my stock boost gage(in the dash board) hits "h" (high) then my car or my turbo will like shut off(almost feels like fuel cut) could this be a boost leak or something that I'm just not seeing. can some one help identify the problem, thanks.

um from what all you've said it sounds like fuel cut??? explain more...

from your mod list it doesnt sound like fuel cut. how much boost are you running with that 20g?? almost sounds like the boost is shutting off and not the fuel.

im running 17 psi , and how is it possible for "boost to shut off"? what would cause this?
