CUT Balance shaft Belt [Merged 6-7]cutting belts remove

can you cut the balance belt off? without having any motor problems?
and will it give a difference in HP gain?

I don't yet know if the balance shaft bearings or the shafts themselves are bad. I haven't taken that section apart yet, but I guess I'll be doing it now, just to be safe.....

The balance shaft bearings wear out faster than the main or rod bearings. At 183,000 miles on my Talon the main and rod bearings were like new but the balance shaft bearings were worn to near end of life. I choose to replace the bearings and keep the balance shafts.

Well the BS's do spin faster, so that makes sense. As a side note, it works out well that BS is an abbreviation for balance shafts since they are total BS.

On this site what is the difference between the BS full kit and the BS stub shaft/ block off kit? Which would be better I'm going to be doing my timing belt soon and not to sure what BS kit to get?
