So I Have Managed to install a custom steering wheel. However there's a big problem when it comes to custom wiring to the functions I want on the wheel. I want to add the push to start and another button to as well as the horn be wired on the steering wheel itself. I had to remove the clock spring for the hub installation so I cant re-pin that. For those wondering why I don't put the push to start on the dash; The dash is already hosting a fingerprint reader in the most optimal location... thus why I wanted to move it to the steering wheel. I need to be able to wire these buttons reliably. I have looked at a few options:
F-1 Splined Quick Release Hub
and
an Amazon Slipring

But I figured I should at least ask around before I commit on a solution.
So does anyone have any ideas or methods for wiring to a aftermarket steering wheel?
