The new fad I'm seeing its the diamond plate flooring. I'm into being really out there. Instead of laying diamond plate I'm thinking 1/4” lexan.

Anyone have any ideas on how I could go about it.

DON'T DO IT! THE RIVETS WILL FALL OUT AT HIGH SPEED! This has been documented in the movie "The Fast and The Furious".

Anyway, back to the thread.

What exactly is your question?

As shown in the first F&F movie, diamond plate flooring can't be used in a forced-induction car. If nothing else, it will cause you to up-shift your five-speed at least six times in a race.

Not boosting but it will be a DD and only a 420@ engine

If you're talking about adding material to the interior, then I have nothing useful to say.

But if you're talking about cutting out the floor and replacing it, then I would not do this. The torsional stiffness of a 2G is already terrible. You should not cut any part of the unibody unless you replace it with something much stronger.
