Anyone here ever make one? I think I may do this.
My thought is from the throttle body to the airbox 2.5" aluminum, to an air box with a filter. Put a drain hole in case of moisture.
Now my question is, should I leave it sealed, or should I put like a 2.5" outlet on it and run it down below to suck up cool air or have it go to where the stock intake goes.
Either way with a cone filter and it being all aluminum it should gain a few hp?
Not on a dsm.

Yep. Haven't decided if I should put a piece of lexan at the top or just aluminum.

Haven't done it yet, but looks kinda easy to work with. Do it like how you were thinking, Keep it sealed with an outlet on the bottom to draw in cooler air. Question tho? Whats wrong with just dropping in a direct K&N filter that goes to the car or you just didn't want to go that route. Either way Its a nice idea for a mod. :thumb:
