So I want to make a brake/clutch reservoir. I don't like the fact of sharing them due to several reasons, but what about making one unit but split it into two separate? But the stockers have the cap with the rubber to keep the fluid from sloshing. Any ideas??

I like the first one. The Tilton one is nice, but I have no need for three :/

So I guess my question is if I were to decide to make one, how would one use the same setup as the stockers with the rubber and filling the void?

Just an idea, but when i workedon porsche club track cars there were some using a single bottle setup with AN lines running to the masters..and the clean ones were hidden in the cowl.wiper arm area with the ines coming through bulkheads to the repective master cylinders.

as long as there's enough volume (which don't take much) charing them is no more of a risk than the fact that if one leaks and empties you loose both units

I saw that, but his does not work with power steering :/.
You can still use it with power steering but you maybe waiting awhile for one, Andrew is still making things on his own and has a big back log of parts to make.
For everybody with power steering, I can send a braided section of line to replace the high pressure line so it can be routed around the reservoir.

Corey, I did not see that part and appreciated. I contacted him a month ago and still has not gotton back to me. He is definatly a busy person, so it's understandable.

Glen, that is what I don't like, if one leaks then it takes out both units. My question is what's the purpose of the rubber diaphram? To keep it from sloshing, or due to the fact brake fluid absorbs moisture? If it's for the sloshing, can't there be baffles put in? I don't know or have an idea on mocking the factory rubber :/

WEll,one thing you can alwaysdo is run a resevior from an older ford truck(89 bronco full size) it had 2 "tanks" in the brake resiviourwith a baffle between them

from what i've been told or understandthe diaphram is to take up any air space so that id sloshing occurs there's less chance ofair in the lines

Another thing i've seen done is to just run a piece of hose as as reseviour with a one way vent on it soit can suck down without vacum since there's no daphrameto make up for the loss of fluid with brake pad wear and clutch wear requiring the slave or calipers to extendfurther.

I've seen -6AN push lock line about 5-6" long on clutch masters and on brake masters i've not seen hose but i have seen motorcycle sized front brake resi's like on a GSXR (round part mounted on handlebar), but these were mostly on track cars, where fluids are checked every outing and bled accordingly. most wtere aftermarket "race" pedal cages ans masterstoo but i'm sure OEMwould do fine as long as you check it often

I like having custom pieces :/.

Well if the diaphragm is just for sloshing, what about using a baffle system, just like how our gas tanks are designed?

there wouldn't be any compensation for the vacum or air formed when fluid is used form break or clutch wear and the levels go lower.. YOU can get rubber diaphrams at many hardware style sores andbuild something, i sitll siggest a GSXR fron master resiviour, small, nic looking and has all needed parts, a simple 3/8th line will connect it to the fittigns on the stock brake and cltuch master, pli it with a "Y: fr brakes and just use one for the clutch, hide them in the cowl
