Hey guys,

Just installed my Prosport Water Temp gauge and the Temps are at

while cruising 70km~ and above im at 190 on my gauge

While in town or at idle im at 205-210 I think that seems high no ?

Also my upper rad hose is very hot like boiling and my lower rad hose I can grab no problem alot cooler maybe not even that hot.

Advice ? Normal ? Bad T stat ?

No overheat Problems at all.

205*-210* doesn't sound abnormally high to me. It's normal.

Is the fan kicking in at around this temp? If not, you could be getting a false reading from the water temp sensor.

Also, one hose is the inlet (hot) the other will be the output (cooler). It's a radiator. If you are still unsure, pick up an infared temp. tester and get an average temp. off various parts. of the radiator.

Be absolutely sure your gauge is reading things accurately and you did the install correctly.

Everything sounds fine to me though.

seems normal to me

If your upper hose is hot and the lower is cold then your t-stat is getting stuck closed and the coolant isn't circulating through your radiator.
210* is too hot if you ask me since at 206* the ECU pulls a degree of timing. You want your coolant temps to hover around 200*, mine with a big ass FMIC are 198* during cruise and 203* sitting in traffic.
Flush your coolant system, replace your t-stat, and add a bottle or two of WaterWetter and you should have no problem keeping your coolant temps where they need to be.

awsome guys , put after market sensor where the stock one was so neverything should be find

Thanks :D

Also what is the over heating range ? where I should pull over and not drive the car?

Used to stock gauge not numbers like this :D

Anything over 216* I'd pull over and let it cool down or figure out why its overheating, by the time the stock CT gauge starts rising past half your already at 225*.
