I have ideal surge problems and am fixing things i find wrong.

Ok i blocked my EGR off and now wondering is there any lines I pull off and cap.

Also i just took my TB off to replace the gasket because it was leaking. Is there a coolant block off I can do?

Also well the TB is off i noticed under the intake manifold there is 4 solid metal tub lines with only 2 rubber hoses connected to them. So the two on the far right or open. What is that and is it normal? if not...

FIAV (Fast Idle Air Valve) Bypass

As far as blocking off the coolant to the throttle body, make sure you know the reason to do this before actually doing it. The reason that coolant flows through the throttle body is so that the car will warm up faster when the engine is cold. Inside the throttle body contains a small wax pellet that actually melts once the engine is warmed up to lower the engine's idle. Therefore when the engine is cold and the wax pellet is not melted it creates a vacuum leak (actually a valve opens, but saying a vacuum leak may give you a sense of understanding) which allows for additional intake air (raising idle).

After hearing that and if this still sounds like something you are interested in then check out this link: FIAV (Fast Idle Air Valve) Block Off

That will give you the 101 on taking apart the throttle body and blocking off the FIAV (which will eliminate the need for the coolant hoses that connect to the throttle body).

Vacuum Hose Removal
Now on to the vacuum hoses. You will need to eliminate a few of the hoses after blocking off the EGR valve. Take a look below at the pictures that I have included. This will give you a good understanding of the "before" and "after" look of the vacuum hose routing.

Also do not worry about the metal hoses underneath the intake manifold. Once you do the vacuum removal (re-route) then you will have no use for them.
