tb vaccum line block off - will this work?

i'm doing the vac line removal and i just decieded to take some screws, rtv and some hose and cap them off.

will this work for me?

i know its geto as shit but i just need it to work. i can pretty it up later.
 
This is a shot in the dark, but I am guessing you have idling problems? I have heard that removing the metal strap that connects to the screw right be that area can cause idle problems..
 
another cheap and easy way to do it is to jsut take 2 pieces of hose and loop 2 of the tb fittings together and zip tie the hose ends on the fittings. So you'd have 2 loops, make sense? I'm bad at explaining.

please explain? or even better can ou take a pic of your TB. i havent started the car yet and would liek to avoid any stupid lil problems that a wire can fix

yea i got ya. i didnt know that could be done. I wouldve done tha tin the first place. I think the caps will do me better though.

There is a metal L-type bracket that you stick one of the tb bolts through (bottom most bolt in your 2nd picture) and that the screw on you tb goes through (only noticable philips head screw in the 2nd picture) I'll see if I can dig up a picture.

EDIT: This is the best one I can find. Its the metal piece rigt below all the nipples on the tb.
