Spyder Convertible Frame Flange Bushing Replacement

I bought a couple of replacement frame arms that I was going to use the existing extension arm on. The flange bushing for the old arm was broken in two. I haven't been able to find a replacement on the internet since this part seems to have been discontinued long ago. I am also hoping to avoid having to pay another $60 - $70 for a $3 part. Has anyone else run into this and how did you fix it?

The 3rd gen Eclipse Spyder has an almost identical top, I have used parts from those on mine, that part may or may not be the same, maybe check that route out.

We made our own, easily, by buying a plastic bushing at the hardware store and cutting it in half, diagonally. Use 1/2 on the right side, and 1/2 on the left side.
