hello i have a question with the order of the spark plugs when doing the 1g cas. I dont know what the order of the plugs is i found this from on here

Now to use this cas you have to reverse the order of the spark plugs. From left to right, your cylinders are 4-3-2-1. The normal setup of spark plugs into the coil pack from left to right is 4-1-2-3. You need to reverse this so the order on the coil pack is (from left to right): 3-2-1-4. In DSMLink make sure "Invert CAS" is selected. I'm not sure how to do this without DSMLink, so someone please post up if you know what to do. Connect your wiring harness to the new 1g CAS and to the crank angle sensor and cam angle sensor on the wiring harness.

but the wording is throwing me off. When looking at the engine from the engine bay what is the order of the pistons, is it 4321 from passenger side ot driver side or the other way around, also when looking at the coil pack what is the order when looking into the engine bay from in front of the car. i am doing this swap tomorrow and want to clarify this information!

Cylinder 1 is always the cylinder closest to the crank pulley.....so it is on the drivers side. so from left to right, it would be 4-3-2-1. As for the coil pack, from left to right the stock configuration is 4-1-2-3. You need to wire it 3-2-1-4 after the swap

Everything you need to know on a 6bolt in a 2g.

You need to wire it 3-2-1-4 after the swap

On a 95-96 car with stock 2G head
· Swap Plugs 1 and 4 with 2 and 3 (order is not important)

Stock
Coil 1 2 3 4
Motor 4 1 2 3

95-96
Coil 1 2 3 4
Motor 2 3 4 1

From magnus, in reference to the CAS signal being inverted on a 95-96 ECU without dsmlink.

Green: Pin 1 is now 14
Green w/ yellow stripe: Pin 2, is now Pin 1
Green w/ red stripe: Pin 15, is now Pin 2
Yellow w/ black stripe: Pin 14 is now Pin 15
Refer to the final page of this document for all ECU pin allocations

The spark coil signal is inverted. Looking at the coils, label each wire A,B,C,D. Change the spark plug wire
locations: A is now C, B is now D, C is now A and D is now B. Another way to do this is to change the trigger
wires to the coil, (3 wire triangle plug, next to the igniter). Switch the two blue wires. One is blue with red
stripe, the other is blue with black stripe. The third wire that remains unchanged is black with white stripe.

Bring Back from the dead!!!!! LOL, for reals though, I am putting in a 95 Talon Engine (with black 1G CAS), into my 98 GSX, just to make sure I read the Magnus site right, Having a 98 ECU, I shouldn't have to change the firing order without Link... Only the people with 95-96 ECU without link correct?
