would having an engine bored .20 over effect readings on a compression test?

And how long does it take for moly rings to fully set?

Not even .5psi if that. Rings are a touchy topic. 15 mins and their seated or glazed, do what you think is best.
You need pressure to make the rings seat well, what pressurized the rings against the cylinder walls?
Beating on it.

I do not think you mean .20 that would be 13/64 more like .020 is what you mean.
As far as changing the compression, not enough to really notice, either driving or on a gauge.

Moly rings can be tricky to seat, best thing to do is see how the manufacture recomends.
Also it depends on how the block was finished honed.
There is diffrent "grit" counts used when honing a block for rings
steel rings use a 280 grit stone
Crome moly use a 320-360 grit
full crome use a 450-500 grit

The rings used should have been disscused with the machinist/shop prior to having the block bored/honed.
