2G Compression #'s

Just did a compression test before I put any power to this car and on my 7 bolt 2G we got 182-182-180-179 ,how’s that sound? I thought the ideal numbers were 178 but I don’t really know how big a difference it makes

if they arent 178 psi exactly your engine is junk. Sell it to me for $50?

Different gauges will read differently.... You are looking for consistency more than anything. They should all be within 10% of each other, which they are...

If you were reading 112-112-110-109, there might be concern for low compression, but at around 180ish you are sitting pretty... SEND IT!

Yeah I figured I was all good just making sure I know these cars tend to be bipolar

110psi is not abnormal for some folks. I see those numbers all the time at my altitude. Our Mirage makes 900whp and the compression is 110-115psi across the board. Living at 6000ft is great.

Carbon buildup will increase compression a little also, but you are good to go, full send!
