My car has a pretty low stance already and I really don't want loose too much clearance. So I'm looking to see which coilovers have the least amount of ride height drop. I was looking at D2 RS coilovers but I can't seem to find the specs.

Are you familiar with coilovers? One of the largest reasons to get a coilover suspension setup is so the user can adjust the ride height. You can make the ride height as low or high as you want. Depending on the coilover, you can adjust other suspension variables as well.

My koni/ground control combo can be set to at least stock ride height, if not higher. Nobody called you an idiot, but I've never heard of the "minimum drop of about an inch" rule for coilovers.

I was looking at TEIN Basics and they had a minimum drop of 1.6"ish all the way around. I also trying to find some really good riding coilovers. I've made the mistake of getting cheaper coilovers in the past and I don't want a super bouncy ride.

maybe it's just the few I looked at.

These specs are for TEIN Basics.

Spring Rates
Front Part # SJ090-01200: 9 kgf/mm, 504 lbs/inch
Rear Part # SJ060-01200: 6 kgf/mm, 336 lbs/inch

Ride Height
Front: -48 mm, -1.9 inch
Rear: -38 mm, -1.5 inch

Ride Height Adjust Range
Front Min: -31mm, -1.2 inch
Front Max: -72mm, -2.9inch
Rear Min: -16mm, -0.6 inch
Rear Max: -62mm, -2.4inch

Unless I'm misinterpreting the data. Just got me looking into it because I want less an inch drop up front and and about an inch in the rear.

Research the Koni Yellow and Ground Control combo. My spring rates are 750f / 325r and the ride is perfectly fine for me.

Nobody is calling you an idiot. You question is pretty vague though, and doesn't really have definite answer. D2s website doesn't specify the the range for ride height. I would expect it would range around 0.5"-2.5" of drop give or take a few inches either way. Find a quality coilover, and they will probably give you real specifications. Not saying D2 isn't quality, as I have no opinion since I've personally never used any of their products. But, I wouldn't run them. They don't even list the spring rates.
