Coilover Problem!

Okay there was some rattling from my rear struts every time I hit a dip.

I jacked up the car and decided to fix the problem I did not install them the first time because I didn't know how but the sound was annoying and it gave me something to do.

I just want to know why does it rattle and if they are in correctly

The universal ebay coilovers that i had i sold them right away.They are way too stiff,not gonna work well with the stock shocks. It looks like the spring could be touching(2nd pic) the Threads of the sleeve . Any paint marks on the sleeve?

Is that spring physically loose? can you move it back and forth with your hands?
