Hi there, did a search for this code but came up with only one thread, the DSM list of engine trouble codes.

My CEL came on the other night when I was just cruising around, and I pulled the code to find this. Although I haven't noticed any performance issues at all, I have noticed that at idle, on occasion my idle will drop to around 400-500 rpms, and my vacuum will dip to around ~12 or 11 (don't worry about the low vacuum, I live at 7000+ ft. above sea level, it was 20 when idling normal at around 300 ft.)

It has been doing this for a few months now, but I never thought much of it, as it only recently threw a code. Plus, it hasn't affected WOT pulls - yet. I'm thinking a throttle position sensor on its way out? Not sure though, as this code seems to be a ghost among DSMs as far as I've seen. Any ideas?

See profile for mod list. Thanks guys.

From what I understand, the CTPS is built into the 2g TPS. If you have the means to do so, try and see if it is positioned properly. I think there is a writeup on vfaq.com.

Also, make sure that your idle is set correctly and the throttle cable isn't too tight.
