yeah, so I just popped in a new (used) black ISC, my second one I've bought and tried, and just like the last and the one that came with it it doesn't cycle in and out like the video everyone has seen shows as a good ISC is supposed to behave. popped it in anyway just to see and for a while had a better idle, but not for long. CEL came on on my way to work and I should have turned back home. now I'm at work with some tools and no booklet so please forgive me but I could use some tips. pulled a code 23, CAS issue. did it really just go like that or did something happen in between changing out ISC's? what do you guys suggest? at first it would start then suddenly despite hitting the gas it would just die. now it can't even start. just struggles -kinda hesitates while cranking. thanks.

I did check the ECU. looks pretty. wiring uh? where particularly? at the ECU then then where? not really familiar with the wiring

hey, I just want to double check. are we assuming that code 23 despite Haynes suggesting the CAS should be replaced after checking the voltage(which test good) is not usually the cause for this code? or is the idea here to rule out as much as possible before spending the cash to replace the CAS? anyone know of anyway to test the CAS itself? found no continuity between terminals tho Haynes didn't have any kind of resistance check. I'll continue to check stuff... compression was great last I checked a short while back. I doubt is need to check that again. I'll check spark now and temp sensor...

book says 280-2700 ohms depending on the temp and the car is only warm from the FL weather and I'm getting less than an ohm.

update: along with no resistance at the temp sensor, neither am I getting voltage (Haynes 4.5-5v) at the harness. so what does that mean? not sure if I should be checking anything else out at this point if I'm not getting voltage at this harness. anyone?
