2G P1500 Code

After searching...the code that I'm getting didn't come up in any topics.

P1500: ABS Wheel Speeds Implausible. My scanner says the CEL is on but its not.

Has anyone seen this before?

95 TSi AWD only mod is an Evo 9 blow off valve.

I was looking up the code list just barely in my manual and noticed the same thing.

Bad ECM maybe?

I'm sort of leaning towards the bad ECU because it is giving me a different description (ABS sensor) of the trouble code and says the MIL is on when it's not. The light might not be coming on if it hasn't completed all the readiness monitors but that still doesn't explain why it is giving a different description of the code.

Just seeing if anyone has seen that before. Also the ABS light is not on.

Could be the ABS ECU going out. Usually the "ABS wheel speed implausible" is just a bad wheel speed sensor.
