First off, I'll say that I searched, but I didn't really find the answer I was looking for, so here it is...

Recently my clutch started "slipping" or at least what I thought was slipping, but after talking to a couple of shops around town, they stated that it could be the hydraulics involved rather than the clutch and pp.

Here are the symptoms:
-Slipping in 2nd - 5th gears once warmed up
-Chattering when trying to get into first
-Soft clutch pedal feel

Are these symptomatic of the clutch and pp, or also the Master Cylinder. I know it's not the slave, because I replaced that about 8 months ago.

I would start with the obvious and bleed the entire clutch system. If you replaced the slave 8 months ago and properly bled it then you shouldnt have hardly any air come out.

If that doesnt fix the problem and the master isnt spewing fluid it is probably the pp, clutch disk, flywheel or a combination of the three. Pull the trans and find out.

How many miles are on the clutch? Do you do a lot of crazy launches and spirited driving?

It definitely soundslike your clutch is toast, might be time for an upgrade :)
