Ok so sometimes when I am driving my 90 Laser FWD my clutch suddenly feels like its not taking as much pressure to push down. then, it goes down, and when i let off it comes up halfway and then the pedal sinks back to the floor. It will act up for a few minutes, and then it will be fine again. I checked the lines for a leak and I cant find one. the slave is new. the only other odd thing that i found visually was that when i looked at the slave, the boot around the clutch fork looks to be the wrong size, its a little too big for the hole. also, the clutch fork seemed to be really close to the passenger side of the tranny instead of in the middle. I just went out and now its back in the middle again. Is it the slave cylinder getting stuck? I'm just confused as to why its there one second and not there the next. the tranny has been taken off by previous owner and maybee the line wasn't bled very well. I have driving the car for about 3 weeks since then though and I would think I would have experienced this problem before if it was just some air in the line. are there any regular things that go bad in the tranny setup with our cars?
