I've been keeping my build kinda on the hush. In addition to my new Quaife fitted transmission and DSS axles, I got this in the mail.

Let's see, a used fidanza flywheel, a used 4 puck and a pressure plate of some kind. I'm thinking that's a good idea if you want to shift ;)

Bullet, you are correct. Used however is not quite the term for them, Just broken in is more like it! LOL.

I have a similar set up on an Integra I built here. Pressure plate has given my left leg a much larger calf though.

I didn't know if anyone here had used a sprung 4 puck to launch them down the track or if they were using unsprung. I figured sprung would allow some driveability in town. This car is NOT however, a daily driver by any means.

ok so heres the final combo for the coming track days T-90 days.

Fidanza 4 puck clutch and aluminum flywheel
Drive Shaft Shop axles (DSS)
5spd NVT350 trans fitted with Quaife LSD

I run a 4 puck unsprung and love it..

good to know, I planned on daily driving it for a little while I was concerned about how it would handle. I guess we'll see in just a week or so.

have run the same thing in my 98 gs, but am no longer, you will like the grip it has but there will be a bit of chater from the flection on take offs, they arent very fun on a steep hills you will eather smoke your tires trying to get up the hill or you will kill your car, however your four puck disk has kevlar tabs and they are great but be warned make sure your flywheel friction surface and preasure plate are really clean no oils even from your hands, also try hard to not over heat your clutch alot by causeing it to slip on purpose and it will last you a very long time. i went back to a standard round disk but i loved the kevlar so i stayed with that. buy looking at your disk i would say you eather have the stage 3 or 3.2 depending on what the preasure plate is from but most likely its a 3.2 just go to fidanza.com or modern performance to compare what you have

Thanks for the info. I'll have spare parts on hand soon should I do any damage the first time through with these parts. I just got the engine bolted in tonight, tomorrow the axles and wiring and well see how everything turns out.
