Going to tackle my leaking clutch master cylinder and am asking if anybody on here has a preference as to which one to get or not to get. Will one from Autozone (Duralast) work or should I go somewhere else. If somewhere else is the answer.....whos master should I be looking for. Thanks in advance.

I just replaced mine not too long ago. I used a auto parts store brand and I haven't had any issues with it. I was able to find the OEM one on ebay, its legit too but had to get the store one because the shipping took forever to get here on the OEM.

I would go with OEM for the master and auto store is fine for the slave. Replace both at the same time.

I think I might end up buying another replacement, but I'm going with OEM instead this time if I do.

I replaced mine with one from O'Reily (lifetime warranty for only $40 or so) and I think it's bad quality. Ever since day one I've had issues with it and getting "pump up." I adjusted it so many times, and I actually have it backed out as much as it possibly can go at the moment, but I think I'm still getting pump up.

I did compare the leaking OEM cylinder with the one from O'Reily before installing, and the rod appeared to be the same length. It also came with another metal housing that the rod threads into on the pedal assembly, but I just re-used the OEM one. I don't think it would make a difference if I were to change it now considering I have the rod backed out all the way and the pedal is still pretty stiff (even with the fluid cold or warmed up).

The slave can still be depressed by hand so that tells me that I at least have the MC adjusted within spec. I've noticed my engagement is starting to get a little notchy in 2nd and 4th now so I'm getting more and more concerned about this.
