I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations on a company or part number for a good clutch fork / pivot ball . I’ve replaced my clutch slave cylinder and clutch master I’m also going to be replacing the clutch and throw out bearing since I’m dropping the tranny here pretty soon Anybody recommend any other seals or parts I should take care of while it’s out ? Just trying to get as much done while i got it dropped ! Thank you 👍🏼

I doubt the clutch fork is worn enough to need replacement. I would just reuse it unless you see unusual damage. As for the pivot ball, call up Midwest Transmissions in Minnesota. I was told they have a few used transmissions in stock and would probably pull one for you.

The stock fork is fine as long as it isn’t bent and the clip is intact. I just ordered a new Neon T-350 clutch pivot ball from the dealer, it’s still available (but check to confirm it fits the 420A T-350).

Stock Mopar ball:

Upgraded MPx ball (it cuts into the case):

Do axle seals while it’s out, they’re cheap from Rock Auto.

I was replacing the the slave cylinder and noticed that there was a lot of play vertically (not sure how much play is normal )so I figured I’d replace it? Would you recommend replacing the pivot ball anyway ? I also saw some fluid coming out of the release fork boot so I figured I’d replace what I could in there .

Thanks for the recommendation! My tranny has a pretty nasty leak too was thinking about doing the rear main seal possibly I figured it wouldn’t be too much more to do once the tranny is dropped

Without the slave cylinder in place, there really isn't much to hold the clutch fork still besides the pivot ball and throw out bearing. So a small amount of play is normal in that scenario. Some of that play could potentially be blamed on a worn throw out bearing though.

And yes you definitely should do the rear main seal while you're in there. I wouldn't want it to cause clutch slippage after the job is done. You'll need to remove the modular clutch assembly (four 18mm bolts) and the flexplate (7 or 8 bolts hard to remember). Make sure you use the installation sleeve included with the new seal because I damaged one not using it.

If I were to do the axle seals on it would it just be one input and one output seal ?

Most places list an axle seal as an output seal. The left and right sides are the same so just buy 2 of them.
So two “output” seals got 👍🏼 pretty nervous being this is probably the most extensive things of done to my eclipse hoping everything goes as smoothly as possible thank you for the help

Do you have any part #s you recommend for the two seals ?
Sure. I typically just order mine from RockAuto. Here's a pic of a National brand that I have laying around. And as I said earlier, left and right side use the same part.
