OK i know how to adjust the clutch but when i get it to catch where i want it (i check by putting in gear and letting out clutch until rpms start to drop), i take for a test drive and it catches instantly off the floor. So i go back to my house and adjust it to catch higher, take it out to drive and it won't catch until its almost all the way at the top. For some reason i can;t get it to catch in the middle. I'm doing small adjustments at a time, and still cant get it in the right spot. The MC and SC are pretty new(bought a few months ago) and they are not leaking or broken. What could cause this, its getting annoying and i think driving around with the clutch catching at the floor is messing up my clutch set up(ACT 2100, street disc, ACT streetlite flywheel). Any help would be great.

Thanks

I'm actually having the same issue...Remember on 2g's there are 2 points of adjustment since they have an actuator...if u have a SS line usually that removes it...

I know 2g clutch adjustments are a pain in the ass....

Remove the slave and check the clutch fork for free play... There should be some free play side to side. If there isn't PM me.

I actually got it to catch in a decent spot, but it still gets spongy at times. I removed the SC restrictor yesterday to see if that would help because before it was terrible(actually thought i had crank walk). It helped out some, but I'm definitely going to get a hard line to run from the MC to SC. ? Can i check the fork for play without removing my SC cause i really don't want to have to re-adjust it again.

Thanks

Bleed the system... i know you have a working cluthc but air can wreak havoc on your clutch for inconsistancy. And one thing most dont' know about bleeding clutches is its better to pump it once, then bleed, pump once, then bleed... DO NOT pump the cluthcn 5- 10 time then open the bleeder, you will just have more issues or never solve your that youhave now (if there's air causing this)

When i went for a drive today it felt almost perfect. I was thinking that that accumulator thing is holding air somehow, which is why i'm going to remove it. Also would a hard line from the MC to the SC be better or worse than a SS one. I was going to get a hard line and bend it to fit mainly because its cheap.
