I have a set of mitsus and a set of clevites. I guess I will order a set of acls and compare them.

yea you already said that a few posts up ;)

I have tried oem, federal mogul and now clevite. I don't think any of them are "bad" and there won't be problem with any set you buy unless of course your clearances are way out of whack.

PLEASE excuse the brain drain!Mark

say ur car stock most people get 200,000miles without OEM bearings going out and many with good bit of power....for the price and availability...id just stick with OEM unless ur making ridiculous amnts of power....also tolerances thats the biggy Machine shops suck :(

Clevites flat out suck( first hand), mitsus are OK but the best are King Bearings

...and here's why:

King's left, Clevites right.

I have a late 98 block that I want to replace the rod, main, and thrust bearing (should come with the main kit) and I am having a hard time finding the right part # for a 98-99. It has the new style crank setup with the 3 piece thrust bearing. Please help if you can thanks jake

I need a part # for the 98-99 block. It is different then the 95-97. That is what I am having a problem with. Let me know if anyone has the part #'s Thanks

I was gonna ask the same thing, did you consider just stock mitsu parts? Since they redesigned it, its probably best to go with oem on this one, i know i would

What is the part number for Clevite 6bolt race bearings? I got some and I want to make sure they are the right part number...because the are not the right size.
Thx

slowboyracing has all that and you never said if they are rod or main bearings.

i checked and the first number (2076p) under mains is the same number for the standard size mains in my set of king bearings. i would just email clevite though or check their website.

what are the part numbers for yours?

Good luck finding the Rods - CB1120P. If you do let me know but I think you will get the AL instead. Clevite changed to a so called all-aluminum bearings for the rods. I wonder why. They did not think it is worth to make high performance bearings for Mitsubishi and, since the all-aluminum bearings like the OE perform great, they changed to that type of bearing.
