I bought a used ACT 2600 with a street disc. The disc had hardly any wear and same with the Pressure plate. Well I tried cleaning the PP off with a rag but there is a little grime and such that wouldn't come off. Is it ok to use a scotch bright or something similar to clean it off? Or is it fine?

Is it your only car? Well either way is a good idea. If its your only car, your should just put it back in because you need to drive it, but if its your only car, you should buy a new one for reliability.

It's up to you man, do you have that kind of money saved up? I didnt and it was my only car so I bought the Fidanza 4.3 kit. It makes funny noises, it is squishy sometimes but there are sometimes where I launch so hard and I think I have no more clutch because I dont even feel it move, then I try to grab secone and my tires finally grab. So I guess she doe her job.

So it's up to you man, what do YOU want to do?

Is it rust or grime? Brake or carb cleaner aerosol will break up any stubborn grease.

It's MY only car but I've been driving my sisters car for the last 2 weeks while I'm waiting for parts to come in and my tranny to be finished. The disc actually has hardly any wear only about .1 or .01 mm off from brand new.

And I think I'll just throw it on and have the heat do the cleaning.
