So this started recently...when i start up my car, and start driving...it literally sounds like im driving a lawn mower. and i dont know what its about... any ideas? please help!

It sound like you might have an exhaust leak if it sounds like a lawn mower

what can i do to fix it? any local talon owners that know people at a shop that could help me take a look at it?

one important thing i forgot, i think it might be a filter or something that's getting clogged? it's not just sounding like a lawn mower but the car is puttering too, like it's gasping for air... at least that's my take on it.

If it sounds like it puttering, you're check engine light is most likely due to misfire(s). Get the code read by a scan tool at Autozone, Pepboys, etc. Also, check for boost/vacuum leaks.

Yea thats what my Talon sounded like after the 6 bolt swap and the random misfire. It was a pain.
