So i have a check engine light on, I took it to autozone to get it scanned and it told me that its a manufactuer fuel code. So I took it to my performance guy and he said it was the maf so i changed it and now the light still came back on after i reset it a week ago. The guy gave me a print out of whats the possibilities and its says short cirtcuit and fuel pressure solonoid. Does anyone no how i can fix the solonoid or get a new one. if anyone want's a picture of the printout to help me let me know ill put it up. Thanks greatly need your help.

The car lags a lot since i got it in september but the check engine light came on in late november.

I read some of the fuel pressure solenoid threads that are on here but my car doesn't sound like it has the problems that people wrote.

I changed the mass air and the filter. My car's running the K&N intake filter setup with the mass adapter for an oval intake idk if thats what may be causing the check engine light. I will get the pictures up of the printout tomorrow but i really need some help. DSM's are new to me.

I also can't find the fuel pressure solenoid to see if i can play around with it and see if that really is the problem. if someone has any idea please let me know.

I know i dont have any good information to let you guys go off of but if you could get some possibilities that would be great. Thanks.

how dose it lag like in shifting or as u step on the accelerator
or bogging in idle/ low idle

if im right the fuel pressure solenoid should be on the firewall
with a vac line going to the fpr fuel pressure regulator

yup thats it. check your vacuum lines to it. or maybe it just plain went bad. its set up exactly like the bcs, just attached to the fpr instead. take a peek at it
