Hey,

I was wondering peoples opionions on Ceramic Brake Pads. Im trying to limit brake dust and I have heard that ceramic is the way to go. Is the braking just as good?

thanks

I run greenstuff ceramic brakes and they stop me on a dime. Ceramic is definetly the way to go

Much better stuff. Can't go wrong with better stopping power.

I replaced my stock pads on my BMW m3 with ceramics about 2 months ago. And the braking is worse. I may have to resurface the rotors. But its definitely a noticeable difference from stock and its worse. That is why I am hesitant right now.

Thanks! It looks like there are a few choices so I will just take a chance on one.

According to my Centric and akebono reference books 1G's came from the factory with ceramic pads. What year M3? Also you should never re-surface or re-use euro discs. they are made from a different material than domestic and japanese rotors and are prone to warping and cracking. FYI
