CEL ON Dont know whats wrong.

I just bought this auto DSM all stock recently. I was driving and my CEL suddenly came on. Then I got home and realized I had a coolant leak. So I had to replace my upper radiator hose and my CEL went off. Then one day i was getting on the freeway and it came back on. When i hit it on the freeway its struggling to get up to at least 60mph. Also there is alot of white smoke coming from my exhaust. Also my idle in stop and go traffic is about 500rpm. What could be wrong?

Go to autozone or your preferred DIY auto place and have them pull the codes from the computer and come back with the codes. If the codes are even still inconclusive, then be prepared for a brain storm.

Like undefined said, the first step would be to pull the codes. The codes can tell you more than anyone here and might help point out your issue. All I can say is the white smoke and loss of power sounds like a blown head gasket.

Yea I got to pull those codes as soon as possible. Thanks for the heads up

My guess is misfire faults with a side of head gasket leak. But all will be known with a code reader and a compression test.
