So i'm getting a P0335 code for a Crankshaft position sensor circuit A malfunction. The car does have a problem starting after it gets warmed up it take 5-6 tries to get it to finally start up. I'm running a 6-bolt block and 7-bolt heads. But my crank sensor is not hooked up because there is nowhere to plug it in i have no sensor. So is it my cam angle sensor or what how do i fix this thing?

You already have the 1g 6 bolt CAS in your car; it has provisions to send a cam signal, and simulate a crank signal all from the one sensor. Check your wiring using the previous posters link as a refrence, and if it checks out suspect the CAS.

did you do the 2g 6bolt crank sensor/cam sensor rewire?

If you did the rewire, it would make sense that its your CAS that's going.

I actually just bought it but i am going to check the wiring to see if this was done, if it was is it possible that the sensor is not in at the right angle, and my scanner can data stream what should my sensor be reading at or around?

If it is the CAS going could this be the problem to my ridiculous idle surge that i keep having once the car warms up? I posted a video of it in my post on the BISS screw.

And if i have to replace the CAS what other cars used the same one, i was just reading a thread that had the list but i cant seem to find it again so if anyone knows the link or even a few cars on the list because im goin to go grab a CAS just in case from the local pick and pull.

I just checked the wiring on it and the white wire coming from the 1g sensor to the blue wire of the cam sensor plug was wired extremely tight and i'm not sure if i did it but when i went to follow the white wire to the blue it came apart so i'm not sure if i pulled it apart or it just wasn't connected all the way. and since the code was for a circuit malfunction i'm hoping it wasn't wired all the way, no i don't know jack about electrical but can i get another piece of wire to bridge the connection or is that not wise?
