I have a 1990 plymouth laser with the 4G63 turbo, basic free mods nothing special boost at 14psi, I get in the car at school after i just drove it a few hours ago, start it up, I pull out of the lot and the car like hits a miniture fuel cut at like 2200 rpms lke a little buck, and the power to everything cuts out for like a milisecond, and the CEL flashes on. I realize that my radio and cd player have no power and wont turn on. I pull over, check things out, all normal, now the car just keeps cuttin out, each time the CEL comes on and goes off once i put the clutch in, if the rpms are under 2000, it wont cut out, then it just died on me. I tried to pop start it since it died on a hill, no response, then i let it sit and i had no power my seatbelts wouldnt work, Then the seatbelts moved forward out of nowhere when i turned the car on to put the windows up because i figured the car was dead, so then i figured id try to start it, it fired right up and i drove home like nothign was wrong, the CEL and bucking was gone, idk if i shoudl drive it or get it straight to the mechanic? What problem could cause all those symptoms, if it was fuel why would i lose power to my accesories, it was strange my radio was off, i have an amp and sub, they were off, but my fan still could go on and my head lights and everything else, and the starter is fine, i need help real bad......

It just hit me that Since my head unit had no power it might be a bad ground, I remember when i grounded the amp i thought it might come loose one day, if the amp was grounded improperly could it cause symtoms such as those?

thats not it because it shut the head unit off, and even with the groudn otu the head unit still comes on, could it be the ecu? coil pack? sensors?
