:EDIT: 98 GST, mods. pte scm5031, tial 38mm wg, 2g ported mani, fmic, 3" exhaust, aeromotive afpr, 550cc injectors, walbro 255, safc. The car will now fire off but it will only idle for 3 seconds and then just completely shuts off. Could this be from where I had to reset the ecu and I just don't have a tune in for the safc to compensate for it yet? It's -20 across the board on high and low settings. Also I can rev it for just a second and the revs slowly creep up. Any suggestions? Please help, this is my DD and my only transportation.

My car did that when my timing belt skipped and bent the intake valves. Check to see if your timing marks are aligned or check compression.

I really hope you have a different problem, because rebuilding the head is a PITA.

good luck

I pulled the plugs and they're saturated in gas, I mean saturated. I've got my safc leaned all the way out from the 800rpm range - 3200 rpms. It will now fire but it will just choke out and die due to not getting enough fire to burn out all of the gas. I've also got my afpr set on 25psi so it wont throw so much more fuel to it but it still wont actually fire and stay running.... Any suggestions? I've still got my 550cc injecotrs...

Did you change or modify something right before this happened? Or did it just do it one day on it's own?

Like bvass said, check the timing marks. If that is kosher, check your firing order (if you had it off prior?).

Is the CEL on?

CEL on due to afpr install  It was a one day thing....Kind of LOL I had to take my 20g the week prior for sale and then I got everything in and bolted it right back up. This is the 4th time I've had my turbo and such off and put it back on so I kind of know what was unplugged and everything looks fine....Its just getting a ton of fuel in there. I just put the 550's back in and going to try it again. Should I bump the fuel pressure back up?
