I just got done changing out the headgasket, my car won't start at all. When the key is turned the car will crank but not start up. I can't figure out the problem. I made sure all connections were together, and all lines back in place.

also another thing you should check is fuel and spark if you have fuel and no spark check your cam and crank sensors. with these cars if one of those sensors go bad it will kill the spark to prevent damage to the engine.

1- Compression Test since you changed the head gasket; (about $30 for the tester at any local parts store)

2- Check for fuel and spark

Fuel - Pull the spark plugs and check if they are dry or wet and if you can smell gas on them if no gas, refer to #4

Spark - Pull one plug at a time and put the end close to a metallic surface while keeping it connected to the wire and crank over. Check for spark. If no spark, refer to #3

3- Check CAM Sensor, CRANK Sensor, Coil Pack and Resistor Pack to make sure they are good and within spec and plugged in;

If they are plugged in, test the sensors and packs according to the service manual...I don't have mine handy right now but I can help you out if you need it.

4- Check the Fuel Injection fuse and make sure the injector connectors are plugged in

One of these should resolve your problem as that's what you need to fire up the enging seeing as it turns over.

Let me know if this helps out!

Grnchevyz summed it up perfect... I am guessing it is one of the sensors that went bad.

Compression 151-155-150-151

Fuel in fuel line, not going through injectors

Checking CAS tommorow, where is the crank sensor located?

Checking Fuse tommorow.

And for some reason when trying to crank my car over my timing belt is moving slightly off the cam pulleys, what could be the reasoning for that, tension to loose?
