i had just bought a 90' plymouth laser from a auction and i came back a little later that same day and try to start it and it would not start. Also when i have the ignition on the "on" position there is a clicking sound behind the intake manifold i think it might be the ignition control module. If anyone can give me advice it would sure help.

make sure that all of ur fuses are good.. make sure you have a good connection with the battery and for hte ground to the chassis.. now make sure the ecu is connected firmly(it has locks so) but also check and make sure that all hte spark plugs are gapped to spec and that the wires are on firm and the coil pack is connected and doesnt have any loose ones.. and see if that does it.

what happens when you turn the key to the start position.

Yes we actually need to know this to help

Auto or manual transmission?

Also, do a search"no start" and/or "start" and/or "won't start", (and choose "Search titles only" as a search option).

Sure that clicking sound is not actually inside your dash???

If it is, this sounds like an ECU problem.

I mean "behind the intake", you mean where at? The friggin intake pipe? Or like near the back of the engine? That could also mean inside the dash, if you here it from inside the car.

i got it running but now every time i hit the gas it cuts off and the fuel i think is not running. Also the clicking is coming from the driver's side right under or in the intake manifold. Also there is now a buzzing noise is the intake manifold when running.
