car wont start

i think my positive post on my battery toched the hood now the car wont start. i turn the key on and the buzzer comes on, but then when i got to start it nothing happens. and when i say nothing i mean it dont make a sound. it doesnt try to crank or anything. i tryed a different battery and nothing. i think the ign fuse thats connected to the positive post is still good. any help? any ideas? i hope i didnt #### it up:banghead:
 
go thru all ## main wires like battery to starter and altinator also chweck asll ignition wires and all fuseable links witch r like fuses but there a wire usualy by the battery it will go from a heavy gauge to a smaller gauge and back to a big gauge that small gauge is the link give it a pull if the wire pulls thru thats ## prob
