hey does anyone hae any idea what could be going on? i just picked up a 1995 eclipse gst. im use to the 420a engins. has a few custom thngs done such as aem fuel rail, front mount intercooler, fuel pressure gauge, air fuel mix gauge, oil pressure gauge, turbo timer, safc2, the td05h big 16g turbo. the car starts on starting fluid and keeps running but wont start on its own. new fuel pump and fuel filter. no leaks. the car one running drives ok but seems to spit a little. i think that it needs a tune with safc. also has new plugs an wires. i swapped the ecu but stll acts the same. any ideas? :dsm:

do you think that my turbo timer or safc2 could be preventing my car from starting? i have fuel getting to the fuel rail ad i swapped the injectors back to stock. so i have spark and fuel and timings on. im lost

When you swapped stock injectors in did you zero out or remove the SAFC?
Have you checked your compression?

yea i cleared the safc. i havent done compression test because it seems fine wen it starts on spray.

did compression test 175 across the board.. other thing i noticed theres no plug to the cam sensor.. but me and others are confused how it runs at all. is there a way the cam sensor could be eliminated???

Check the injector resistor pack for continuity and correct resistance readings......check fuel pump relay for proper operation.....just because fuel is there....doesn't mean theres enough pressure to make your car run...........

do you know how the car runs without the cam sensor being plugged in?? looks like someone cut out the plug ### i dnt see one on the harness
