so basicly my 1990 laser rs-t ran perfectly and i had all the bugs out. everything was perfect. the car got impounded to a police impound where it sat for exactly 90 days. i got it out and it wouldnt do anything when i tried to start it, it would just just click. it also didnt push start. i replaced the starter and the new one turns the motor over but still wont start the car. it doesnt even try and kinda sounds dead like it has no compression. things i have replaced trying to track down the problem:
starter
plugs and wires
coil pack
power transistor
ECU
MAF
fuel spark regulator
battery
altinator
timing looks good, belt looks good and it appears in line with the marks at top dead center.
each plug gets good spark
i tried putting a few drops of fuel down each cylinder and try to start it (bypassing all fuel systems) and it doesnt even try.
i took a plug out of each cylender one at a time trying to fire it over with my hand over the cylender and it blows subsantial air out but i did it one time and it backfired out of the plug hole and puffed out some white smoke... and also when i removed the plugs one of them had oil in the wihite tip part, like a lil black chunck
i am going to perform a proper compression test now and will report back.
but any other ideas would help cause if this thing has compressin then im lost.
i mean it ran PERECT, wasnt giving me anyproblems, and i know the mileagse, it has not been drivin since it went in the impound.... it sat for 90 days and now its acting like its dead.
