I hear the starter click on but it wont crank, I've kind of had a issue with it were I have to keep the wheels straight to start it but now it doesn't even try to start. could i just need a new starter? battery is fine and its getting power. looks like the factory one so maybe its just given up.

Could be. If you hear the starter click then power is getting to it. Could be a bad ground or weak power supply (loost terminal or corroded wires). You can try tapping the starter with a hammer or other tool to jar the starter guts. Sometimes the starter solenoid or engagement gearing hangs up and lightly banging it with a hammer gets it to work. Don't wail on the starter, just hit it about as hard as you would to break open a roll of quarters. If that works to get it to crank, you need a new starter. If not, could still be the starter, but check your wiring first.
