Ok guys i need your help the car has been sitting too long and i really need it to run.

Ok so here's a list of what i have already done to the car.

1.replaced the ecu
2.replaced plugs and wires
3.installed a fuel pressure guage inline and it reads 40 psi when i try starting the car.

OK so i've have this problem for about 3 months all the car does is crank but it won't fire.

I know i have fuel up to the fuel rail but even after cranking it for awhile i don't notice any fuel on the plugs when i removed them, and i also bought a spark plug tester and i didn't get any spark so i'm prettu much stump.

As far as i can tell i'm not getting any spark or fuel, i might be getting fuel but i know i'm definatley not getting any spark.

So what can cause me to not get any spark.

Try a different coil . Is it the correct year ecu . Fuel filter replaced . Is fuel pump kicking on ?

The ecu is from the correct year and the fuel filter has already been replaced .

IS there just one coil or 2two

Ok so i followed the no start trouble tree and both my coils test perfect, i reinstalled the spark plug tester and i still have no spark.

So from what it says the CAS is the problem, but i just want to make sure that's what everybody else would suggest as the probelm, i heard that the power transistor could cause a no spark but it normaly will only cause a misfire or no spark on 2 cyclinders if it started to go out and mine just quit all together so i wouldn't lean to far to it being the problem.

I have 3 ecu's and i've tried all 3 and no change so i'm pretty sure it's not the ecu.

Alright i need some wisemen thought's

I'm not sure if this is the best way to test the cas but i need some advice on my finding's

I first ck to make sure all 4 pins were getting the proper voltage or ground i had 5V on pin1 and 2 and then 12V and ground on the other 2 wires, so i know that my ecu is providing proper voltage.

I then hooked one lead to battery ground and plug back in the connector to the cas and back probed pin 1 of the cas and the 5V went down to .193V, i then cranked the car while watching the meter.

While cranking the motor the voltage fluctuated but it never got above 1V, i was told that it should flucuate between 0 to 5 v but i never seen it get above 1 volt i don't think that it was flucuating so fast that my meter couldn't read since i have a pretty good meter i'm just trying to check it without having to remove the cas.

Just wondering what your guys thoughts are on it.

if that doesnt work check your crank sensor and check to see if the crank shaft and the crank pulley belt are not broken. because if they are broken the ecu wont know that and will still be trying to start the car.

Thanks guys for all the help i've found out what the problem was.

My CAS had a short inside of it, i replaced the CAS and the car started right up :thumb:

So thanks to the trouble truble tree i found on here the Steve showed me the car is up and running.
