car won't blow off

ok so i just replace my turbo got everything back together and than when i rev it i hear the turbo spinning but no blow off?

Check the vaccum line on the bov thats where you will most likely find your problem. It may have came off the t or something.

When you rev the car in neutral, there's no load on the engine. Thus, not enough of a pressure differential to release the BOV.

Is it a stock BOV or aftermarket?

What turbo you have? In my auto 2g it blow off with the t-25 then I put a 16g on and it wouldn't blow off in neutral I also had a turbo xs bov

Go drive it. You'll be able to clearly tell then if the BOV is working or not. You might not be able to hear it open, but you'll definitely hear if it DOESN'T.

with my 14b and my new 16g even if my cars in neutral i can hear my stock bov
try a boost leak test and see what you come up with
how many lbs are you boosting?

Yeah, check the vacuum line on the blow off valve. Also check for boost leaks.

As MrBoxx said, you need to load the engine to start spooling the turbo enough to get into positive pressure. Sure, you can keep revving sky high in neutral to build maybe 2 psi but it's not going to be noticable.

Drive it and you'll hear it better depending on the BOV and if you altered your intake by cutting the dump tube.

ok thx guys i found out the o ring on the intake side of the turbo was broke idk how just took the snap ring off and saw that so goin out now to find another
