Okay, I have a question..The other day I was driving up the highway to school and my engine started smoking so I pull over and the inline fuse for my amp had melted and it had melted into my batter and my car almost caught on fire and I'm wondering why the hell is started melting, it's only a 600 watt amp if that matters, thanks.

I beleive it was a 40 amp but I'm to totally positive because I couldn't check, you can find nothing of the amp, it's all melted

Sounds as if you might NEVER find out then. Electronics and sound systems have alot of things that can cause potential problems. Never know if maybe a fan stopped cooling or what.

Just be glad you caught it in time so as to not having your car catch on fire.
