Hey Guys. I just bought a 95 Eclipse GS-T from Louisanna and had shipped up here to ohio. It has 105k Auto Bone Stock EXCEPT the previous owner had some sort of "stereo work" since he left me the 100 watt amp and 2 cross overs. Has Brand new Belts, Fuel Filter, Timing belt, air filter( replaced with Upgraded Intake) , and a new(reman) alternator that i already had to replace because it was junk.

I drove the car last week for the first time , open downpipe, fmic, aftermarket bov, intake, upgraded dump pipe, Boost Sylenoid Restrictor removed. About half or a little more throttle the car will begin to miss and sputter...obviously was a problem before the mods because i found after new plugs and wires that the owner replaced the coil as well. I used a known good power resistor on the car and still has the problem. No Boost leaks. Coil plugs Wires all new. Stock Fuel system. All Stereo but Deck removed along with all teh rediculous wires. I have had 2 420a cars over 4 years so the turbo cars a little out my relm yet but wanting and quickly learning LOL..so i need some advice or help! :dsm::talon:

The 7es's gapped 50 as per the label on my hood. Ill check for boost leaks again but i tried it and it wasnt leaking?

My car was doing the same thing. I found out my car was on limp mode and had a misfire in cylinder 4. So I replaced my spark plugs that were in the car when I got it and gapped them right and also went one step colder. After I did this, The problems with the sputtering and lagging cleared up.

Regapped a set of 6es's to .023 and the car is alot better now. I actually got to feel a coupel of hard pulls with no sputtering, tho it still once awhile will have a hick up...but no where near as bad. Thanks!
