Guys; i really need to figure this problem out.

Ive had 2 other posts and in which not one person gave me information that i could use..

PROBLEM: Car develops a terrible hesitation problem RANDOMLY, doesn't matter about outside temp, or the cars temp. If i'm in FIRST gear, ill hit a wall at 1500, unless i FLOOR the pedal to WOT. Then it'll go WOT and be fine. Other gears, if you push on gas, car will not do anything. You can see VAC move on the boost gauge, but won't build boost. Once you hit WOT though, the car will drive fine, or if you get the car to WOT and let off pedal slowly, you can keep the rpm or get full pedal function.

Whats done

95 Eagle Talon TSI, 6 bolt swap with a rigged harness from last owner
I replaced, Spark Plugs and gapped them correctly.

Do you think it could be, Plug wires? EGR? Air Filter? Fuel Pump? Fuel Filter? Injectors? TPS?

I used my injectors from my 97 GST that were stock. So a FWD fuel pump, and stock injectors. would the pump cause not to work?

NO BOOST LEAKS, TESTED

i have no ways to log this car. I wish i could. i need set in right direction. Not, their is "a lot of things it could be man"

and i know it all needs done and changed, and i appreciate everyones help, just can't figure it out. and i need it fixed asap since its my DD

Your profile says you have ECMLink....why can't you post a log?

And...it could be a lot of things whether you like that answer or not. How are we supposed to troubleshoot your issues over the internet when we can't even see a log of what's going on with the engine?

You mentioned "Air Filter? Fuel Pump? Fuel Filter? Injectors? TPS"

Have you cleaned/replaced the air filter?
Tested the fuel pump to see if it's flowing fuel?
Checked/replaced the fuel filter?
Pulled and inspected the injectors?
Adjusted the TPS?

It sounds like you just want someone to fix your car for you, so I would suggest finding a local shop or someone familiar with DSMs to have a good look at it.

Start with checking for a boost leak or a bad fuel pump, I had a similar problem with my old RS and went through this whole process. PM me if it is nither I'll help you out.

Ive been working on these cars for 6 years, I've owned 6 2gs and 1g. Ive built motors and done plenty of swaps. I don't need work done for me, IM ASKING for help on where to start and what to do because this has been going on for a month and i can't figure it out without help.

I'm not just some noob that has 4 tech posts i been here for a long while.

Like my first post said, its my Daily Driver, NOT my GST which has ECMLINK and all the mods.

Good. Cause it doesn't take 6 2g's and a 1g to determine that this is likely not your air filter.

Assuming you have a 95 ECU all set up with Link, why don't you just swap ECU's?
Swapping ECU > 1500RPM rev limit.

My bad. I didn't get that impression from your first post (air filter...really?) or notice we were talking about different cars (it was late). :)

My logic still stands though. Especially since you have the knowledge and experience, start eliminating all the things you can, like those listed above. Then list out what you've done so we don't go down a road we don't need to when making suggestions.

I would start here....

Let me rephrase this, I'm trying to get this headache out of my life.

I didn't mean to come off sounding rude or anything. i been around just as long as most people in this scene that are still around..
I love this site and always on it.. But this problem literally has me stumped.

I bought the car when it only needed a TOB, replaced all the clutch components and found out motor was knocking.. Replaced motor and has issues ever since because of last two owners..

I honestly just wanna fix this problem and sell it to someone and let them know what i fixed and what it will need if anything next time around..

I know its not the air filter but i was trying to find a starting ground point.

I have hesitation issues from time to time, mine are from the lack of the retaining metal clip on my tps connector. which leads it to become loose. It doesn't trigger a OBD2 code, but gives me horrible hesitation, especially when boosting. Plus a kinda stutter and slight bucking.

A quick and easy check of your tps connector and power transistor connections could prove to be useful. I suggest separating the connections. Then inspecting both the male and female ends for any debris, corrosion, or anything that looks out of place. After any unwanted variables have been eliminated, put them back together firmly.

This seems like a "noob check", but in reality, internal corrosion of connectors is something overlooked quite frequently. I myself was left stranded when the internal corrosion of my power transistor left me clueless on the side of the road due to terrible misfires. Everything was firmly connected, and looked good, but upon separating the connectors I noticed some horrible corrosion on a few internal terminals. I cleaned them up, strategically applied some dielectric grease, and she has been good ever since.

Boost leak test. Plugs/ wires. Check electrical

He's already mentioned he's done a BLT and swapped wires.

Have you checked your turbo? Maybe even your harness is the one giving you problems, like you mentioned already it gave you problems with a different motor and this one again.
It's hard diagnosing what's wrong with your car when the details could mean many things. Start by checking the small things.

Do a BLT and check your wiring harness connectors on your injectors.

I did a boost leak test, it was the first thing i did. all good.

I checked the clips they seem to be good.

O snap. My TPS sensor clips broke from last guy.. i have a zip tie around it.. you think it could be wiggling loose?!? sounds messed up but shit haha
