Just a little info on the situation, I sold my 92 GSX about two years ago to a guy locally. He drove it for maybe four months tops, then parked it in a field. I hated to see the car waste away so I just recently bought it back for just a few hundred bucks.
All I could find on search was just the basics or something from someone that has spent a year building their car. I mainly just want to make sure I'm not overlooking anything before I try to get the car back on the road. So far I'm going to be draining the gas and filling up with fresh gas. Flush & change all fluids, oil, coolant, etc. Check all the belts and hoses. Replace the battery and air filter ( A rat has been under the hood) Check all the wiring. Check braking system.
The car ran strong when I had it and has 140k on the clock, just had some slipping going into 2nd gear and had a bad case of idle surge. Is there anything else that I need to look into or buy before I try to start it up and drive it. Once that's done I can start rebuilding the car like it should be.
