I have been a member of this site for about two years now and I have not posted very much. I have put hours and hours into researching information, and I have gone from knowing nothing about cars to being pretty savvy. With that being said, I have finally accomplished most of my goals for my 97 gst, I have put in a K&N, a hard pipe ram air intake, a megan 3" turbo back exhauset, a turbo xs MBC running 15 to 16 psi, autometer gauges, greddy upper and lower ICP's, a greddy type-s BOV, and have purchased a 14b, though it is not installed yet.
So to my point, I just recently took a ride with one of my friends in his evo 8. It is 100% stock but it felt ungodly fast, it seems as if my car isn't even close to what his feels like. I'm feeling pretty defeated at this point. Am I wrong to think that I should be at least close to 300hp, I did practically all the stage 1 mods excluding the larger turbo, but does that even matter since it says you only need 16 psi's for that stage of upgrades and I know the t25 or 14b is capable of that. My car just doesn't feel that much faster than stock. Is there something I am missing here? Thank you for any advise you have to give.

The guy who developed evo scan is a liar. He will say any thing to sell his products.
I bought his USB OBDII cable because he said it would work with a DSM......... NOPE.
I also tried his evoscan software, NOPE...... but I was using the evoscan +his cable. I have yet to try with a Serial OBDII cable (I just need a female-female serial cable to connect to my OBDII logger)

my t25 also holds 15-16 psi throght the whole rpm range. im running an intake,3'' muffuler system and 3'' down pipe no cat, tanabe suspetion and hp struts, hks ssqv vented. and i run on pump gas 93-94 oct

and yes i have a boost gage if anyone is to ask how i know my psi ahaha. and 98eclipsekidd08 is my friend from school and he is holding 15psi

make sher u check for boost leaks and take off the intake check for shaft play make sher u have some nice ass oil and just pamper the whole motor. it will let u have 15-16 is everything is good. my is running 15-16 and holds and i dont even have a boost countroller. i picked up some psi from mods[intake, muffler system, down pipe nocat and hks ssqv

I'm trying to figure out why "tanabe suspension and hp struts" was added in a thread about going faster... I guess I should buy me some hp struts if word on the street is they're making us go faster! ROFL

I used to have a 98 tsi awd, all stock besides K&N FIPK. Now I have a 97 gst with an Apexi N1 turbo-back, 14b turbo, HKS SSQV, and a boost gauge. The gst is soo much faster than the tsi awd I had. And my 14b is running stock boost and it still pulls so much harder and all the way through the RPM range.
